The Community Action Network (the social justice club that meets at the Table CFC) have been working with the awesome folks at Transition Perth and other interested community members to help form the Perth Bicycle Collective. This group is offering free workshops throughout the summer. They recently held a kick-off free workshop at the farmers market where they assisted people with basic bike maintenance and repair. They also surveyed the crowd to get a better idea of people's cycling habits and what they see as barriers to cycling in town and beyond.
