Good Food Bank

The Good Food Bank focuses on providing fresh, whole, healthy food options in a warm and friendly environment. Community members may access a 3-5 day supply of fresh fruits, vegetables and pantry staples once per month. Two additional top ups of fresh produce are also available each month.

How to Access the Good Food Bank

We understand how difficult everything can become when you don't have enough nourishing food. At the Good Food Bank we do our best to make it easy for you to access food for yourself and or your family. 

  • ​On your first visit please bring photo identification for yourself and anyone else you are including in your order, and proof of address such as a piece of mail with your name and address on it, or current ID with your address.

  • Pre-ordering is required please place your orders for in-person shops well in advance as we are often booked to capacity several days in advance.

  • Full orders and top ups are available for delivery and pick up.

Click on the button and fill in the requested information. We will contact you for available pick up or delivery times . This service allows you to choose the specific groceries you will receive.

Call to Place an Order for Pickup, Delivery, or an In-person Shop

Please leave your name and contact info: phone number, text or email and type of order (in-person, delivery or pick up). Please note: you can call and leave your information at any time.

We will return your call, to schedule your shop, pick-up or delivery.

 

Participants will receive a reminder call/ email or text the morning of their in-person shop, delivery or pick up.

 

If you do not already have an account, one will be opened for you at this time. If you do not receive a return call/email from us  you will not receive an order.  

What to expect when receiving a delivery

  • ​Your delivery will be brought to your doorstep. The delivery driver will ring your doorbell or knock letting you know it has arrived and wait for you to answer.

  • Drivers can not bring orders into your home

  • Drivers will not leave food unattended, if you are not home the driver will return to the food bank with your order.

What to expect when picking up

  • Please arrive at the Good Food Bank door at your pick-up time, ring the doorbell and someone will help you with your order pick up. Please note: orders are completed in order of pick up time, please do not arrive early,

  • If you have any questions or concerns about your delivery please call the Good Food Bank promptly, we will do our best to address your concerns. 

  • If you are going to be late, please call and let us know, orders unclaimed 90 min. after the pick-up time will be unpacked.

  • We are here to help!  But sometimes, we receive more orders than we can fill. Your request will be filled on the next available day. If you need a specific day, you can book your order up to 1 month in advance.  Many thanks for your understanding!!
