A new way to participate in and support The Table

Are you looking or a fun evening, involving food, socializing and a good cause? It could be a corporate team building activity, something different for a family outing, or a way to get together with a group of old friends.

The Table invites you and a group to join us for a Soup Session.

Chili Cook Off 2016

Back for another year but bigger and better than ever. The 2016 Chili Cook-Off will feature chilies crafted by Perth Farmers'Market vendors, The Table Community Food Centre and a celebrity cook. We'll also have a cider press and will serve FRESH pressed cider to go with the chili.

All proceeds will go to The Table's Harvest Campaign to support good food for all.

 
 

The Hungry Planet Pop-Up Fundraiser

The Table Community Food Centre, and Community Chef Judy Dempsey are excited to announce, for a limited time only, the return of one of Perth’s all-time favourite restaurants – The Hungry Planet.

A magical fundraising event featuring a "moveable feast" of local foods. Guests circulate around the historic farm property from one delectable dish to another, all the while being entertained by summer music.

The Table Goes to Market

On Saturday October 3, staff and volunteers from The Table, Perth’s Community Food Centre, are heading down Highway 7 to the Byward Market to be part Farmer Appreciation Week. From 11 am to 2pm, Chef Judy Dempsey, assisted by the others, will be sourcing local ingredients from market stands and demonstrating the best way to incorporate them into a delicious harvest soup.  The demonstration will occur in front of the main market building on George St.
