The Tables Board Announces ED to Take Unpaid Leave of Absence

The Board of Directors of the Table Community Food Centre has announced that Executive Director Ramsey Hart will take an unpaid leave of absence in order to run as a candidate in the riding of Lanark Frontenac Kingston in the upcoming June 7th provincial election.  The leave is pending confirmation of his candidacy.

Via Campensina - Food Sovereignty Discussion Feb 21st

After the community meal from 4:30-6 pm, a discussion of the Via Campesina movement for food sovereignty to be followed by the National Farmers Union, Lanark Local 310 Annual General Meeting.

Job Posting: Part-time Contract Position - Fundraiser and Event Planner

The Table Community Food Centre is looking for a qualified individual to fill a short-term, part-time contract to provide fundraising and event support through to mid-January 2018. The individual will assist with the implementation of the Perth Polar Bear Plunge and several other fundraising events which occur through November and December. With the exception of times of specific events, work hours and location are flexible.
