The Table is excited to be partnering with the Rotary Club on the 2017 Perth Ribfest, slated for July 28th to 30th.

In the past two years the Rotary Club has made Ribfest a very successful fundraising initiative that has provided tens of thousands of dollars to local community projects. Events are a lot of work though, and the demand on the Rotary's volunteer pool was not sustainable. This is where The Table comes in. We are very pleased to be partnering with Rotary on this year's festival and one of our key roles is to solicit volunteers from our network of engaged community members. We'll also be taking the opportunity to diversify the food available at the festival and provide some delicious and healthy options for people to enjoy along with, or instead of, the ribs the festival is famous for.

If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to the community, are enthusiastic, energetic, enjoy working with the public, and want to make this year’s Ribfest a great success, please consider volunteering with the festival this summer. Volunteer positions include:

  • Main Gate Greeter
  • Service Gate Greeter
  • Cleaning and Maintenance Assistant
  • Car Show Monitor

Volunteer shifts are a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 4 concurrent hours in duration. You may work more than one shift per day if you wish and a short training session is held prior to each volunteer shift. Ribfest volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

It's easy to sign up for a shift or two online. Why not get some family members, friends or colleagues together to support this great community project.
