Food Fit

Food Fit is a fitness and nutrition program focused on connecting members of the community who want to make long term improvements to their health through diet and exercise.

The program is free for participants who can join one of the two weekly sessions on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon OR 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The program starts Thursday, January 30th ans will run every Thursday for 12 weeks. Each three hour Food Fit session will be made up of 30 minutes of group exercise (ususally outdoor walking), a health info discussion, and a cooking session. A free snack and meal (lunch for the morning session, dinner for the evening session) will be prepared together and shared.

Not in the best physical shape? There's no need to be intimidated. This program has been designed to accomodate a wide range of fitness levels. Walking outdoors wil be the main form of exercise- no spandex or equipment required!
