This workshop will be facilitated by Forbes Symon, a local gardener with a passion for raspberries and years of experience to share.

Lunch will be prepared by the Young at Heart Cooking group, and will include Forbes' raspberry pie - inspiration for future harvests!

We'll end the workshop with an optional tour to Forbes' raspberry patch. It's less than a 10 minute drive and we encourage carpooling. If you've got a car and are willing to drive others please let us know when you arrive.

Community Gardens - The Table CFC

Our Community Garden program is open to all community members. We focus on increasing access to local food while providing a friendly space to meet new people and learn new skills, all in a beautiful environment.

Garden sessions are drop-in so that garden members can attend one or all of the sessions as they are able. We host garden workshops, workparties, and weekly collective gardening sessions throughou the year:

Calendar of Events

We grow over 40 types of vegetables and herbs organically and in community. We garden together, harvest together and share the produce. About 40% of the food we harvested last year was taken home by garden members and 60% was used in our Good Food Bank, Community Meals, and Community Kitchen programs.

We have two gardens, one located at The Table Community Food Centre, 190 Gore St. E., and the other at Last Duel Park.
